Mondragon Assembly USA, is a commercial, engineering and service office that was established in 2021.  Mondragon Assembly USA is part of Mondragon Assembly Group which is an international group specialized in the development of automation and assembly solutions for industrial components.

We group our knowledge into three business areas: Solar Systems, E-Mobility & Energy Storage, and Automation. The Automation business unit includes developing projects for automotive, electrical components, medical, household appliances, and cosmetics markets.

Our main activities in each of these business units include developing turnkey lines and machines and contract manufacturing, offering solutions anywhere in the world with our six production plants and three technical and sale offices.

Job description

The US-based PLC programmer will develop software for machinery and ensure its performance meets customer specifications. Provide the required technical support

 guided by the values of Mondragon Assembly by optimizing the available resources
autonomously and responsibly, working as a team, and generating open and
comprehensive communication.

  • Assist in the achievement of project objectives and legal regulations in all electrical and programming matters.
  • Validate electrical design.
  • Execute the electrical design plan, software development, and electrical installation in coherence with general planning. 
  • Monitor compliance with deadlines, costs, and other electrical design and programming objectives and propose corrective actions in case of foreseen non-compliance. 
  • Customer relations and support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
  •  Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Experience working with PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Beckhoff and Siemens.
  • Experience working with Six Axis Robots, Scara Systems, and Gantries
  •  Experience working with Visions Systems.
  •  Experience working with Industrial Communication buses.
  • General experience in Automation, including electrical, pneumatical actuators, and sensors.
  • Able to read, understand and update electrical drawings.
  •  Proficient in MS Office software.
  • Experience working with online platforms to track action plans.
  •  Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan will be considered.
